General terms and conditions of AIKON GYM

These general terms and conditions apply to anyone registered as a member at AIKON GYM, as well as a third party who uses AIKON GYM's facilities and/or premises.
Members' personal data are strictly confidential and are used solely and exclusively for AIKON GYM's administrative purposes.
Personal data will never be made available to third parties for commercialële purposes.
The bringing of pets is not allowed.
You are not permitted to exercise on outdoor shoes, flip-flops, sandals or socks.
You are not permitted to exercise under the influence of alcohol, drugs and other stimulants at AIKON GYM. Smoking is also not permitted.
It is not permitted to consume food in the gymnasiums of AIKON GYM.
AIKON GYM is not liable for loss, theft, misappropriation or any damage, whether direct or indirect, of or to property of members or third parties, or any costs resulting therefrom.
AIKON GYM reserves the right to change training times, place, program’s and the like.
AIKON GYM reserves the right to (temporarily) deny your access in case of abuse or inappropriate behavior.
There will be a modified schedule (o.a. closed on Saturdays and/or Sundays).
A modified (group lesson) schedule applies during the vacations (Christmas and summer vacations).
AIKON GYM is closed and/or limited open on officialële holidays (New Year's Day, 1st & 2nd Easter Day, King's Day, Ascension Day and 1st & 2nd Pentecost Day) and between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Payment can be made by debit card or online in advance.
A direct debit can be given monthly, semi-annual or annual in advance. The direct debit always takes place on or around the 27th of the month for the following month.
It is not possible to pay monthly in cash, this is only possible by direct debit.
AIKON GYM is entitled to terminate the relationship with the member in case of payment arrears of 2 or more months, without the cancellation of the payment obligation.
For 2 or more months of dues arrears, access will be denied (temporarily) until the outstanding amount is paid.

Men are members from signing a registration form (digitally) until cancelling the membership in writing. Cancellation in writing can be done through a cancellation form or by email.
Monthly, semi-annual and annual subscriptions do not stop automatically and continue on a monthly basis after the minimum term until cancelled.
Modification of the subscription, blocking or cancellation is possible by sending a letter and/or email. The change, blocking or cancellation is only valid when a confirmation has been received.
Cancellation via telephone contact is not possible
We do not apply a notice period. When cancelled before the 20th of the current month, the subscription ends at the end of that same month. Cancellations after the 20th of the month, will be processed one month later.
Intermediate cancellations for semi-annual or annual subscriptions are not possible.
AIKON GYM reserves the right to change rates. At least 1 month before the price change, members will be notified.
Restitution of subscription fees already paid is not possible.
When registering for a subscription with monthly payment, a partial payment will be charged.

It is not allowed to bring coats, sports bags or other objects into the gym.
Use of cell phone for texting, whatsapping, listening to music etc. is allowed. (Image) calling is not allowed.
Take out a membership at AIKON GYM is possible from the age of 16.
There is mandatory use of a towel during exercise.
Wearing a clean and fresh shirt is mandatory.
Weights, dumbbells and other materials should be put back in place after use.
It is not permitted to bring glassware inside; however, use of a plastic water bottle or plastic bottle is permitted.
After use, the equipment should be left clean. The cleaning spray and wipes provided may be used for this purpose.
The use of the equipment, following any program or course components and/or –activities, is entirely at the member's own risk.

AIKON GYM operates an access registration by scanning a QR code at the Front desk, via the Technogym app. Members of AIKON GYM are required to use this app and must check in this way each time they visit.

AIKON GYM has lockers for members to use. These are free to use in the locker rooms with a 4-digit code.
You are required to leave the lockers clean after use.

The emergency doors should only be used in case of emergency.
AIKON GYM shall not be liable for any materialële or immateriële damages or injuries to its members or third parties
Eventual defects to machines, showers, locker room, etc. should be reported to the front office immediately.

The laws of the Netherlands shall apply exclusively to these terms and conditions and all agreements entered into by or with AIKON GYM.
