Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic form of movement in which you link different postures together fluidly. The pace is set by your breathing, allowing you to experience a rhythmic and energetic flow.

Vinyasa yoga in Leeuwarden

In this class you will work on strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and better posture. You will move actively, work on your fitness and learn to move in a controlled way. The class takes place in a quiet space where you can fully focus on your movement and breathing.

What does a vinyasa yoga class look like?

We start with a brief relaxation and warm-up to prepare the body. Then we build the intensity with a flow style sequence and standing poses, with smooth transitions and a mix of stability, core work and mobility. At the end, we bring the pace down and use the built-up heat to stretch the muscles. And then we end the class with a moment of complete relaxation, involving both the body and the mind.

Vinyasa yoga: something for me?

Vinyasa Yoga is suitable for anyone who wants to move actively, build strength and flexibility while working on focus and body control. You control the intensity and level of the poses, allowing beginners and advanced practitioners to work out together.

I'm not flexible, can I join?

Sure. You don't have to be flexible to start. Our instructor will help you with safe options, good technique and achievable variations. With regular training, you'll notice your flexibility, balance and strength increase naturally.
